Jonas Ax

HEAD OF BAR ADVOCACY AT BRIGHT HOSPITALITY

Jonas Ax is a global bar and spirits professional with over two decades of experience across the hospitality and beverage industry.

He has served as Senior Manager – Advocacy at Bacardi India and neighbouring markets, where he led a 12-member advocacy team and worked closely with leading bars, bartenders and beverage programmes across the region. His career has also taken him across international hospitality markets, including London, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur and Barcelona.

Over the years, Jonas has held leadership roles spanning bar operations, beverage strategy, advocacy, training, brand development and industry engagement, building a strong understanding of both the business and creative sides of the bar industry.

At Bright Hospitality, Jonas serves as Head of Bar Advocacy, leading beverage strategy, menu development, training, talent development, industry collaborations and advocacy across the group’s bar-led concepts, including AMPM Kolkata and Gurgaon, Top Banana and Martinis Every Night.

He brings an international perspective, deep industry relationships and a strong focus on developing talent and building beverage programmes that can stand alongside leading bars globally.
